Kool & the Gang's Curtis Williams is the Rewind Selector!

Available for 25 days

Feelgood favourites, hidden gems and fresh new tunes to groove and soothe you. DJ Spoony serves up a brilliant selection of classic soul, disco, soulful house, R&B, funk, UK garage, reggae, hip-hop, doo-wop, yacht rock and more. Our genial host also gives his New 2 Spoon record of the week another spin. Tuesday night is Rewind Selector night, where a musician, celebrity or Good Groove listener chooses the tracks that take them back to the dance floors of their youth. Tonight, Kool & the Gang's Curtis Williams picks the tunes and shares his memories. Spoony wraps things up with a Midnight Feast track. Think big production, lush orchestration and the best voices in the business! To listen on most smart speakers, just ‘ask BBC Sounds to play The Good Groove with DJ Spoony’. Produced by BBC Audio for BBC Radio 2.
