Available for 29 days

It’s Good News Wednesday so Vernon hears about what is making the nation smile today. Two listeners take on Vernon's mid-morning music quiz Ten to the Top, Vernon delves into the BBC archives for Vernon's Vault and we have two more selections from Linda Perry - the award-winning songwriter and frontwoman of the band 4 Non Blondes. Today you'll hear about Linda's love of Kate Bush and the extraordinary story of how she wrote Get The Party Started and then ended up giving the song to P!nk. All amongst some great music to keep you smiling through the morning. Listen to Vernon’s full conversations with his guests for Tracks Of My Years on BBC Sounds, and watch on BBC iPlayer and Radio 2's YouTube channel, just search for 'Tracks Of My Years'. A BBC Audio production for BBC Radio 2.
