The journalist and historian Taj Ali grew up in Luton as a young Muslim boy who never felt "different". But after the terror attacks of September 11, things quietly shifted. In this conversation with Amber Haque, he talks about how that moment thousands of miles away trickled down into his own life, including the school lesson where he first heard the stereotype that Muslims were terrorists.
