Sean said, "Many, many, many years ago, I wasn't long out of the Tan-Sad, I was given a cup of coffee, Camp Coffee, you pour it out of a bottle, and you put hot water in it, as far as I know." "It was presented to me and the smell was dire. I couldn't handle it at all, and that's as close as I came to having a cup of coffee. I never drank it, I sipped it, give a wee eugghhhh, and had to put it down again!" Mick McBride got in touch to say, "I remember we had camp coffee growing up, it was more like a syrup than a coffee, like tar! It was rotten! There was a Scottish soldier on the label, must have been made for the military." But Iris enjoys it, "you mentioning Camp coffee, in a wee lang skinny bottle, I saw it on TV just yesterday, one of the chefs was flavouring his cream with it. We used to boil milk, and put camp coffee into it, we thought it was lovely, probably wouldn't be good enough these days, but its good for putting into cream for coffee cakes." Music from UB40, Layup, Elvis and Azteck.
