We hear about a new and growing scam involving criminals impersonating mobile phone providers. They call offering cheap deals but it ends with victims paying for expensive brand new handsets and sending them to the criminals. Shari Vahl joins Winifred Robinson to explain how it works and what to look out for. As the temperatures rose in recent weeks so too did the number of ads on social media selling portable air con units. These temptingly low budget options claim to offer the latest cutting edge technology. But are they all they seem? We hear from a customer who's 'air con' unit blew more warn air than cold. And have advice on how to spot these ads and the essential product details to check. Call-outs to deal with rats rose by 11% between May and June 2026. The changing climate, litter and fly tipping are thought to be part of why these rodents are on the rise. So how can home owners deal with them in a way that is both effective and humane?
