More needs to be done to prepare for the effects of climate change. A new report calls on the Welsh Government to spend more on flood protection and stabilising former coal tips. The UK's independent climate change committee also says that cooling measures need to be introduced in hospitals and care homes. They predict that heatwaves, flooding and wildfires are set to become more common. If you live in an area at high risk because of climate change, how concerned are you about the prospects of further flooding and landslips? Dementia is the UK's biggest killer. And today we want to hear your experiences of dementia care and treatment. Dementia patients routinely face prolonged delays in accessing diagnosis, treatment and support. That’s according to the Alzheimer’s Society. They’re calling for dementia to receive the same focus and urgency as other major conditions. And why should we bother to learn new languages? Artificial intelligence can now offer us real time speech translation and subtitling. So if machines can do this faster and more accurately than humans, is it worth investing years in learning another language? Get in touch if you’ve learnt a new language – how has it benefited you? Call or WhatsApp 03700 100 110 or Text 8 10 12. Be part of the nation's conversation.
