Steve reflects back on last week's Great Escape Festival

Last week Steve headed down to Brighton for the UK's leading new music festival - The Great Escape. Each May the festival takes over the city to showcase 450 of the world's best new and emerging artists. And this year, Steve traversed the city on the hunt for new music! 2026 marks a major milestone as The Great Escape celebrates its 20th anniversary, and Steve reflects back on the last two decades of the festival being at the forefront of emerging talent. Alongside this, Steve chats with a handful of artists that he's looking forward to support over the next 12 months including Little Grandad and Any Young Mechanic plus, there is music recorded live from the BBC Introducing stage from The Itch, Bathing Suits, Adjua, and Big Long Sun. Steve also has brand new music from Wasuremono.
