6 Music Festival, with guests Jacob Alon and Naima Bock

Radcliffe and Maconie

Available for 26 days

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present live from Salford for the 6 Music Festival. As well as the usual Saturday morning blend of top tunes and chat, Mark and Stuart play a selection of live performances from the festival so far, from artists including TTSSFU and Bloc Party. They also hear from Scottish singer-songwriter Jacob Alon who shares their ‘First, Last and Everything’ - that’s their first record, the most recent one they've enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to them. Jacob, who recently received the Critics' Choice Award at The Brits, also chats about their debut album 'In Limerence' which was released last year and was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Mark and Stuart also talk to another festival performer... singer-songwriter Naima Bock, who chats about her music ahead of her set at Eccles Town Hall Ballroom this evening. With a selection of music old and new to get the weekend started. Produced in Salford by Audio Always for BBC Radio 6 Music.
