Imported steel quotas will be lowered, and anything brought in above that level will be subject to a new 50% tariff. The UK steel industry has been calling on the government to shield it from cheaper steel made abroad. Greyhound racing is to be banned in both Wales and Scotland. Senedd members here have voted to outlaw the practice, in a move which was backed by animal welfare groups.
