This weekend, at Glastonbury Festival, a historic moment is happening with the launch of ‘Arrivals - its first ever dedicated South Asian space! Marnie Zubair is joined by Sania Haq, a part of Going South – one of the teams collaborating to bring Desi culture to Glastonbury. She brings a unique perspective to events management as founder of Bye2Sterotypes, a training platform that conducts audience research into diversity in the arts – particularly live music audiences. Beyond bringing South Asian representation to Worthy Farm, Sania has been a part of a South Asian dance company BollyCo for over a decade, dealing with brands and partnerships management. Sania shares her top tips on creating music events. Her research puts her in a unique position to understand both audiences and the acts that are so important to a successful event.
