Clevedon poet Malcolm Harvey captures the strange quietness of home after a child leaves for university, while Raise The Bar founder Danny Pandolfi joins Adam to talk about bringing world-class spoken word performers to the Cheltenham Literature Festival. Bristol poet Georgina Hopkins turns an embarrassing linguistic slip-up into a celebration of malapropisms, and Wiltshire writer William John Graham with a tale inspired by a cake-themed writing prompt. There's drama from Devizes writer JP Paradise, who transforms a Depeche Mode album title into an original audio play, a snippet from Cheltenham author Jess Blatchley's debut novel Roofboy, a short and sweet fiction with a twist from Jacqueline Inglis, and a poem from Charlotte Mossop exploring the relationship-testing realities of flat-pack furniture.
