Phil Palmer and Michael Butcher were dedicated urbanites, living and working in central London, until they moved to start a new life in the country just over 5 years ago. What started as a dream of a holiday home turned in to a full time job farming 40 acres, raising rare breed animals and running their own micro brewery. Complete agricultural novices, they got their farming training from google and adapted their skills of marketing and journalism to build an on-farm business.
