How to listen to BBC News on Amazon Alexa devices
You can use your Amazon Alexa device to listen to BBC local news and BBC’s Nations services for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. You can also set BBC as your default news update and choose from 3 of the BBC content types to add to your flash briefings. If you have linked your BBC account you can ask for local news by saying “Alexa, ask BBC Sounds for local news.”
BBC National News bulletins
To play the BBC flash briefing say “Alexa, play BBC flash briefing,” or to hear the UK News update say ‘Alexa, play BBC News,’ this will play on the BBC News Skill.
