The Infinite Monkey Cage, BBC Radio 4's highly popular and entertaining science/comedy show returns for a new series that sees the famous Cage welcoming some new monkeys.

With Professor Brian Cox away on tour, this series will welcome two familiar voices to listeners: scientist and broadcaster Professor Adam Rutherford and comedian Jessica Fostekew. They’ll be joined by some very well known celebrity science enthusiasts, and scientists, for a witty irreverent look at the world through scientists' eyes.

** Please note: Wednesday 26 August is a double recording with a 20 minute interval between recordings ** 

Tickets will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 5pm on Sunday 9 August.

You can apply for a maximum of two tickets.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated by random draw, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Applications are accepted until the publicised closing date/time.

Step 2: Receive a message

Once the random draw has closed all eligible requests are entered into the draw. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
