Abstract

The AMWA NMOS APIs, IS-04 and IS-05, are becoming an increasingly important part of the IP future of broadcasting. As mission critical APIs for the broadcast industry it is important that these APIs can be trusted to be secure from abuse and interference. This document recommends a uniform way of using the HTTPS protocol with these APIs to ensure that they can be used securely but can continue to be cross compatible between vendors.
