The explorer Wilfred Thesiger was a complex figure. Big-game hunter and writer, old Etonian nomad, and twentieth century Victorian. As his authorised biography is published, Paul Allen is joined by its author, Alexander Maitland and the travel writer Sara Wheeler to assess the legacy of his writing, photography and adventures.
