Getting the homeless homed

The radical experiments to tackle homelessness

We visit two schemes to see if they can offer a viable solution to a complex social problem. Myra Anubi travels to the Scottish capital Edinburgh to see first hand the work of the charity Social Bite which creates mini communities by placing a number of pre-fabricated easy-to-construct homes on derelict land. Meanwhile, in Nantes in western France, we see the work of the organisation Bureaux du Cœur who seek out office space that can be used for safe overnight stays for people in need.
