Macron to hold crisis meeting as wildfires continue

In France, a massive blaze is closing in on the city of Bordeaux. Another fire - near Madrid, in Spain - has been declared the biggest in Spain's history.

More than three- hundred thousand people have been told to leave their homes in France and neighbouring Spain. Forecasters say another heatwave this week will make conditions even worse, with temperatures exceeding forty celsius.

The price of oil has fallen after the US and Iran paused tit-for-tat military strikes.

In Germany, the police have shot dead a man accused of carrying out a deadly attack at a Gay Pride event in Berlin. We'll head live to the city.
