
Ukraine: Former defence minister reacts to racism claims from those fleeing

As the conflict continues in Ukraine, African nationals who are amongst those try to flee the country have spoken out about the racist abuse they say they have faced at the borders. The UN estimates that more than two million people have fled Ukraine since the start of the Russian onslaught.
Also, the mother of a Nigerian student who had been stranded in the Ukrainian city of Sumy, has told the BBC she is relieved that her son is finally out of danger.
And we find out what the implications are for the continent as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) releases its global assessment report.
