Rebels take control of towns near CAR capital

Rwanda has sent what it calls a ‘protection force’ into the Central African Republic, after rebels attacked its peacekeepers when advancing on the capital. CAR and Rwanda’s governments accuse ex-President Bozize of backing the rebels, which he denies, ahead of Sunday’s presidential election.
