How a Sierra Leonian hospital decreased their birth mortality rate

A hospital in Koidu city reduced birth mortality rate by half.

We speak to Vicky Reed, s a Sierra Leonean-born specialist nurse providing support to staff at the hospital in Koidu City. With support from UNICEF and Partners in Health the hospital has managed to improve birth survival rates.

Malawi's self-styled prophet Shepherd Bushiri and his wife Mary have been unconditionally released by a magistrate in the capital, Lilongwe, following their arrest on Wednesday.
