Nigeria: Fears that End SARS activists are being persecuted
Reports and analysis of the day's political, economic and sports news from across Africa.
Activists involved in the End SARS protests in Nigeria say they are being persecuted by the authorities, and believe their involvement in demonstrations against the controversial police unit is the reason. Bola Mosuro talks to activist Aisha Yesufu, who says, "we have a government that does not have leadership, so there's no strategy. The only thing they know how to resort to is brute force."
Plus the latest from Ethiopia's Tigray region. There are fears fighting there could be spilling out of the country's borders, with thousands of refugees fleeing to Sudan, and the TPLF saying it was behind a rocket attack on Eritrea's capital Asmara.
And a shocking report from Kenya, where a year-long investigation has shone a light on the growing trade in stolen children.
