Top Ethiopia opposition figure charged with terrorism

Leading Ethiopian opposition figure Jawar Mohammed has told a court in the capital that he was "proud" to have been charged with terrorism.

A policeman and a private security guard have been arrested in Uganda, as investigations into the fire that destroyed Makerere University’s iconic building get underway.
