Namibia trains dogs to sniff out Coronavirus
The Namibian says this is the first African country to use dogs to sniff out Covid-19.
The University of Namibia’s School of Veterinary Medicine is training dogs to detect Coronavirus.
Dogs have been proven 95% accurate at detecting Coronavirus, according to veterinary lecturer Alma Raath.
A set of guidelines have been announced for travellers coming into Nigeria, as international flights resume after months of shutdown following Covid-19 pandemic.
Some of these guidelines include a mandatory Covid-19 test result - 72 hours before arrival in Lagos or Abuja and another test on the seventh-day of arrival.
