Ivory Coast: Protests over leader's third-term bid
Demonstrators defied a ban on such actions.
Opposition supporters in Ivory Coast have been taking to the streets in Abidjan and other cities to protest against President Alassane Ouattara's bid for a third term in office.
Mozambique's President Filipe Nyusi is visiting the northern province of Cabo Delgado where the army is fighting Islamist insurgents, he says the militants want to divide the country.
The Ethiopian government is facing growing pressure to release Kenyan journalist, Yassin Juma. He has tested positive for Covid-19 while in detention, and a court in the capital, Addis Ababa, ordered his release on bail earlier this month.
