Anger in Egypt over Ethiopia dam dispute

Anger has been simmering in Egypt and neighbouring Sudan following reports that the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is filling up.

LGBTQI+ refugees at one of the world’s largest refugee camps, Kakuma in North West Kenya, say they live under constant harassment and vicious attacks from other refugees, local security, police and the local community.

Ahead of the announcement of the 2020 Caine Prize for African Writing winner, we've been hearing excerpts from the five nominated stories.
