Black Lives Matter protest kicks off in London

In London, thousands of people have demonstrated against police violence, following the death of African-American citizen George Floyd, who was killed by a US police officer in May.

A South African court has found some coronavirus lockdown regulations imposed by the government "unconstitutional and invalid".

In South Sudan, five people were shot at in an altercation with an army officer who appears to have family ties to President Salva Kiir.
