Universal Music Group launches Def Jam Africa label

Universal Music is launching Def Jam Africa which they say will represent the best of hip hop, Afrobeats and trap from the continent. We speak to South African rapper Nadia Nakai who joined the new label.

We also hear from Burundian opposition candidate Agathon Rwasa who is challenging the results of last week’s presidential election.

And the head of Nigeria’s Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, Professor Mojisola Adeyeye says the country will go ahead with clinical trial of hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment for coronavirus.
