Burundi election: ruling party's presidential candidate set to be declared winner

The provisional presidential elections results have been announced in Burundi and Evariste Ndayishimiye, the ruling party's presidential candidate looks set to be declared the winner of last week's vote.

The authorities in northern Ethiopia have said that they’ve seen an alarming surge in attempts to have girls under 18 married off coinciding with school closures.
