Tunisian factory chooses lockdown to produce protective gear against Covid-19

110 female and 40 male workers secluded themselves in the factory as a ‘patriotic gesture’.

Tunisia has an innovative response to the coronavirus outbreak, in a country which has over 200 cases. In a rural area near Tunis, 150 patriotic employees of the ConsoMED factory decided to seclude themselves to manufacture protective gear like masks to help their country's fight against coronavirus.
