A swarm of locusts that has wreaked havoc in east Africa has moved further south in Kenya

A swarm of locusts that has wreaked havoc in the Horn of Africa has been on the move as predicted arriving in Focus and posing a great risk to food crops. Farming and tourism around Laikipia in Northern Kenya is said to be under threat. So can anything be done to hold back the devouring insects? Dr Stephen Njoka is Head of the Desert Locust Control Organization for Eastern Africa.
