High profile stand off at Lesotho state house

The governing ABC party in Lesotho has asked Prime Minister Thomas Thabane to resign over allegations that he was involved in the murder of his estranged wife two years ago.

The business of selling coffins at the Hospital mortuary has been banned by the mayor of Lusaka Zambia, described as insensitive and likely to traumatise patients and their loved ones.

Ethiopia hopes the Firearm Administration and Control proclamation, passed into law by the country’s upper house of parliament on Thursday, will help curb insecurity in the country.
