
Top tech firms sued over DR Congo cobalt mining deaths

Apple, Google, Tesla and Microsoft are among firms named in a lawsuit seeking damages over deaths and injuries of child miners in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The International Rights Advocates have filed the case on behalf of 14 Congolese families.
Governor of Kirinyaga country Anne Waiguru has threatened Kenyan rapper King Kaka with a case of defamation after the musician named her in one of his songs denouncing corrupt politicians. But lawyer Nelson Havi is so convinced of King Kata's innocence that has offered to defend the musician for free.
