Killing thirteen French soldiers during an operation against jihadist
Thirteen French soldiers have been killed in a helicopter collision during an operation against jihadists in Mali, according to the French president's office.
An investigation has been launched into how the two helicopters hit each other.
The World Health Organization says it has evacuated 49 members of staff from the town of Beni in the eastern part of the DRC due to the worsening security situation, as protesters stormed a UN peacekeepers' camp in the area angered by an escalation of attacks by armed groups in the region.
