What is World Pneumonia Day?

The day aims to raise awareness about the deadly disease. Every 40 seconds a child under five dies because of it and in Africa that rate is even higher. An appeal calling for global action is being launched, and one of the organisations involved is UNICEF. We speak to Dr. Aline Simen Kapeu, UNICEF’s Senior Health Specialist.
