Our reporter Chris Ewokor gives us the latest on a video circulating on social media. The video shows men dressed in Nigerian army fatigues beating and killing a suspect before burying him in a shallow grave.

Ongoing pirate attacks in the Port Harcourt area in Nigeria, have led the Maritime Workers Union in Port Harcourt to start a 3-day shutdown of operations. We hear from our reporter who was at the jetties, where enforcement officers were stopping boats from loading goods or passengers.

The BBC's Patience Atuhaire reports from Kampala, where Ugandan police have fired tear gas at journalists protesting against alleged police abuse. Five people were arrested but later released.
