President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda seeks a sixth term

He came into power in 1986 after a guerrilla war that toppled Milton Obote

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has said he still has unfinished business in Uganda as president and would only leave if asked to do so by his National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

He called his leading critic, musician-turned-politician, Bobi Wine, an "enemy of the country's prosperity".

South Africa's power company, Eskom, says the continuous power outage is necessary to prevent the collapse of the electricity grid, after six power stations had to be shut down due to power leaks.
