Malawi court lifts ban on phone-in shows

The case was brought by a media watchdog that argued that the ban was an infringement of the freedom of expression

Malawi's High Court has lifted a ban on radio phone-in programmes imposed in June by the country's independent communications regulator who had said broadcasters had been indulging "in careless and unethical coverage of post-election events".

Plus at least 30 people are feared to have died following a landslide at a gold mine in Chad, close to the border with Libya.

And we hear from the South African teenager who has won a top photography prize for his captivating image of two men dehorning a rhino.
