
School fire kills over 27 young people in Liberia
An overnight fire at a Koranic school near Monrovia has killed close to 30 young people
At least 27 people, many of them children, have been killed in a fire at a boarding school in a suburb of the Liberian capital Monrovia.
The early-morning fire is believed to have broken out when Koranic school students were sleeping in a building near their mosque.
