Ova Extraction for Kenya White Rhino
Reports and analysis of the day's political, economic and sports news from across Africa.
Scientists say they have successfully extracted eggs from the world’s last two surviving northern white females rhinos as they race to save the species from extinction.
The eggs will now be fertilized using frozen sperms that were collected from the last male of the species, who died last year.
Five young people have been killed and twenty-one injured at a rap concert in Algeria.
