Hundreds of Nigerian child soldiers have been freed

Nearly 900 children who were part of a militia helping to fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram have been freed, according to the United Nations;

And the number of people displaced within their own countries by conflict and violence is at an all time high, according to the UN;

It's been a year since the tragic incident in Solai - western Nairobi, when a dam burst its banks, killing 48 people and rendering over 2000 homeless;
