Sudan’s military rulers and an opposition alliance meet to discuss the powers of a joint military-civilian council

Today in Sudan military council members have been meeting with protest leaders at the Presidential Palace to decide on the joint body which will replace the army and form a transitional government. We get the latest by our correspondent Catherine Byaruhanga is in Khartoum.
