Sudan: Protesters continue a 'sit in' outside army HQ

Thousands of protesters in Sudan have continued to demonstrate outside the army headquarters demanding that the current military rule be replaced by a civilian government;

The British government is expected to pay out over $15 million to more than 7000 commonwealth solders who fought for the country in the second world war;

Fighting continues in Libya between the internationally recognised government in Tripoli and the General Khalifa Haftar group, with over 130 people killed and more than 600 injured;
