Nigeria elects Buhari for second Presidential term

Nigeria's incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari is set to win the 2019 Presidential Elections by a comfortable margin of almost four million votes, according to official results. However, the opposition's People Democratic Party has rejected the results, with their Chairman branding the vote count as "incorrect and unacceptable". President Buhari's victory comes amidst a delayed polling date and a sharp fall in turnout figures.
