Zimbabwe's President calls for dialogue
Mnangagwa calls for national dialogue after a week of blood and bullets
In Zimbabwe, at least five people have been killed as security forces clamped down on protestors after President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced a steep hike in the price of fuel. The protests and ensuing deaths saw Mr Mnangagwa cutting short an overseas trip. He said authorities would investigate all those who engaged in violence during the demonstrations as well as security forces. He also called for a national dialogue involving all sectors of Zimbabwean life including opposition candidates. Nkululeko Sibanda is the spokesman for Nelson Chamisa, President of the main opposition MDC party.
