Ugandan Opposition Politician Charged With Treason

Kassiano Wadri, the Ugandan opposition politician who won the controversial by-election in Arua, has appeared in court on charges of treason. He was arrested on Monday along with other MPs, among them, the popular musician, Bobi Wine who has appeared in front of a court martial. His lawyer says he’s been badly beaten whilst in detention.
