
Ethiopia: 10 die in violence between Somali and Oromo communities
Simmering political tensions spark violence in the east of the country
At least ten people have been killed in Ethiopia's eastern city of Dire Dawa as violence spread in the Somali region of the country. The weekend violence started in the city of Jigjiga where residents burned churches and targeted non-locals after a rift between the federal and local government.
