Rare 'Blood Moon' Visible Across Africa
Reports and analysis of the day's political, economic and sports news from across Africa.
Skywatchers across the continent will be treated to the longest 'blood moon' eclipse of the 21st Century - when the earth comes between the sun and the moon, causing the moon to turn a reddish, brown colour.
At least part of the eclipse will be visible from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, most of Asia and South America.
