A quarter of a million South Sudanese children are at risk of dying if urgent food aid is not delivered to them, according to UNICEF. We hear from the father of a severely malnourished child who is receiving life saving treatment.
Allegations against South Africa's President Jacob Zuma and others are being handled by a judicial inquiry, the ANC's new president Cyril Ramaphosa has told the BBC. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he said that the state had been 'captured' by people purporting to be close to President Zuma.
