Concern grows for Cameroonian detainees
Three of the 12 detained Cameroonians, who are on hunger strike, are "very sick".
Relatives of 12 people detained in connection with protests in Cameroon's two English-speaking regions have expressed concern about their fate. Early in August, the detainees released a video, showing them in what appeared to be a dark, underground prison. Now three of the detainees, who are on hunger strike to protest against their jail conditions, are "very sick" a relative told the BBC.
Plus, two white South African farmers accused of assaulting and threatening to burn a black man alive after forcing him into a coffin have been found guilty of attempted murder. BBC correspondent Nomsa Maseko was in court to hear the verdict.
